I think so. Morris hasn't done any better than Alexander this year (3.5ypc) but he's only gotten 8 carries. If I'm Holmgren, I'm giving Morris 10 carries/game for the next few weeks to see how he does. And yes, afaik, he can catch the ball.
It's not like Morris will be any worse than Alexander, he could be better, and reducing Alexander's workload will help him as well.

Morris has been hurt most of the year. I think Sunday was the first week he was active since week 1.
