Ive never played in Reno, but I have played countless times in Tahoe poker rooms and I'm assuming they rake the same. It's much much easier to make money playing in Tahoe because the rake is much less than it is in the Bay Area. They rake $1 for every $10 IIRC with a max rake of $4, IIRC

I play 3/6 and 6/12, so I'm not sure if the rake at NL games is a timed rake. Hope this helps.
