I think I understand what you are asking, and I'm pretty sure the answer is no. But if you're running Parallels, you can run FTP through your Windows system so this isn't really an issue unless you have some reason you prefer the Mac version.

You're right, it's not really an issue. I just thought it would be better in terms of speed/ram to use the mac version but i really have no clue.
