I'll take a stab at what I think Nat meant.
Despite what we know/think we know about Scott Tom's involvement based on the accounts used/ method used, it is possible Scott Tom didn't actually play any of the cheating sessions even if an account he has been known to use did.
We know AP is claiming a 40 day window for the cheating only.
That's my best guess as to what that means.
And no, I'm not claiming I think Tom had nothing to do with this.
