The 46 has the 120hz thing and a better contrast ratio but I'm not sure I'll be able to tell the difference. And the 52 is a 52!! so I'm leaning that way. I'm getting my parents one for christmas and I'm just going to get myself the same thing at the same time. I'm really psyched cause I know they will love it but want to make sure to get good ones.
