At NL200 and lower, a PFR under 10% is a good way to play.

you can do well, but its leaving a lot of money on the table

What do you base that opinion on?

I have not seen anyone with a passive style preflop win big at MSNL. The big winners at higher levels are 15/12, 18/14, 20/16, even 24/17, but I haven't seen guys who are 20/5 who win at a high clip at 2/4 and higher.

There are just so many advantages to raising preflop that the average small stakes player is not aware of.

Does anyone who plays NL400 have a substantial # of hands with rdegs21(sp?). I have him playing 15/6 over 10kish hands, and in my database he is a substantial winner.

I have a ton of hands with him. I'm pretty sure he is one of the bigger winners. He manipulates his image bigtime vs the regs so I don't really play him as though he's a 15/6 from LP.
