Default 2006 WSOP color-up scandal?

Read an editorial in that ubiquitous free poker newspaper thats at all the casinos about how a player received 2,000,000 extra chips due to a color up error. The employee responsible for the mistake was fired apparently but I see no mention of who'se stack got the extra chips, despite the writer saying in no uncertain terms that the person who benefited was an immoral scumbag who should be ostricized at every opportunity for not speaking up about the error.

Anyone know details?

And what are peoples opinions on this? Im suprised at my own lack of conviction regarding condemning the player, whoever it was... No one gives you back your money when an act of god takes it from you, is it really so awful to keep quiet when you benefit from the same? I would love to be able to jump on my high horse and call the person in question scum etc but with 10k invested and what amounts basically to an instant estate upgrade for you, your children, and all who share your bloodline for its entirety into the future, is it really realistic to judge someone so harshly?
