TY - I contacted them earlier today spoke with Wendy she confirmed all the pricing and faxed me the actual daily rates. The only Sat/Sun upcharge is Labor day weekend at the $112.74. 8/31 Friday is definitely $85.46 which is the normal weekend rate and the rate charged for Fri/Sat 9/7 and 9/8 which she was able to add.

The poker room is also providing food comps in addition to the room rates shown. Food comps Buffet etc have always been quite liberal in Tunica (whether the Horseshoe, Goldstrike or Grand) and they this is just an extention of that basic policy.

Poker room staff is a bit haggard and semi frustrated at the moment because of the poor communications within Harrah's (bad code, wrong information provided, no details as to structure, ETC) but as has always been my experience are basically good "southern" folks and if you are patient and decent with them they will do everything they can for you.

Been to Tunica often and for multiweeks at a time for the early WPO days and regardless of who is running the various poker rooms they do their best to treat you well.
