shootmeplease, since nobody seems to be giving you any common sense advice, here it is:

I highly doubt anyone on cardrunners advocates putting your whole bankroll on the line at one table unless you don't care if you lose it.

Furthermore, the nature of poker is that, away from the table everyone is friends; at the table, nobody softplays. You can't expect them to go easy on you. If you think they should go easy on you, then you are in the wrong game. Play for a lot less money.

Also, don't drink and gamble together if you can't afford to lose what you are gambling with.
