Old hand from Borgata Open
I never really thought much about this hand, but it's from the Winter Open (or whatever they call it), the 10k event at the Borgata.
I have about 80k chips to start the hand, opponent has maybe 60k. Blinds are 1000/2000 with I think a 300 chip ante. Opponent in the hand has been talking about knowing a ton of players and been name dropping like crazy, but he hasn't really played a lot of hands. He has been relatively tight. I came to the table with about 45k chips and doubled up with QQ versus AA and then have bled away some chips. I have been raising moderately often preflop, but missing flops and playing pretty tight postflop.
He raises UTG+1 to 6000, folded to me in the BB, I call with AcJc.
Flop comes AK3, rainbow. I check, he bets 10k, I call. Turn brings 6 second of some suit (not clubs). I think for maybe 30 seconds and bet 18k. He thinks for a while (maybe 3-5 minutes) then finally pushes all in for maybe 24k more. Call/fold?
Comments on all streets appreciated.
This hand is from memory, so all details might not be correct.
