Yeah, you did. The guy is obviously a clown, but the floor and the dealer were actually doing their job in this situation. You had no compelling reason to speak up.

I respectfully disagree with you.

I felt compelled to speak up because Seat 3 had been bullying everyone at the table who played hands against him and I wanted him to know that his bullying wouldn't work with me.

He outright lied by saying that he hadn't commented on anybody's playing and the dealer said nothing at that point. Possibly because he had only been there for a partial shift. I wanted Seat 3 to know that I was calling him on his bullsh*t and that I wasn't intimidated by him.

We tangled several times after that with him winning one big pot and me winning one big pot. In neither case did he comment or taunt.

Had I received a warning or sanctions for my behavior then so be it.
