lots to do but it is all outside. the best stuff is on the south island. hit all the tourist spots then find the good ones, like places where the penguins come up on the shore at dusk and isnt full of people in bleachers.
drive to wellington and take the ferry to picton
fish in crystel clear waters and have to stalk your fish or not get one.
hike some of the famous tracks like the milfod or greenstone.
buy some detol or the sand flies will eat you alive.
bungee jump at skippers
white water raft
learn about the maori people
