Since the Sheriff took care of this situation, is there even a police station in Fish's town? Sheriff's are generally county, and police local. If the city does not have a police, then they hire sheriffs. West Hollywood comes to mind.
Sounds like the kind of place that you would be just as well to put Dunkin' Donuts on the speed dial.
