Default Introducing the German Forum

Hello,

First of all, please excuse for the delay introducing ourselves and the German forum to you. Its an honour doing this. And we will do our best to create a successful forum, for the German readers.

The Forum is powered by www.pokerolymp.de a self financed online news magazine, without advertisings and affiliates. Which means that the three moderators are guys working for pokerolmyp.de It was the management`s decision picking up those three mods even if they had not some large number of postings at 2+2.
The next days we will proceed in adding moderators from the existing 2+2 users, to complete the structures.

The German market is the largest outside the US. Thats why we have this cooperation. Furthermore we have a cooperation with 2+2 books, being translated into German and distributed by www.pokerbooks.de You can see that there are a lot of synergies possible. And thats exactly the goal.

We cant compare with the US moderators and their great experience and knowledge, which made 2+2 the number 1 forum in the world. But we are open for advises and suggestions. You dont need to learn German for that; we are talking about methods and structures. Feel free please.

The Moderators:

1. takacare: pokerolymps chief editor. Professional Photographer, journalist, pro player, worked as a casino floorman for years, managed 3 German forums
2. Madd: pokerolymps mathematician. Chess FIDE Master, Professional poker player and editor
3. aakk: pokerolymps consulting manager. Online Pro, former owner of card rooms in Austria, 10 years floorman, instructor for dealers and floor education, editor, managed 2 German poker forums

We love the idea to be part of the team. And we will do our best to adapt. Once again: please feel free to ask whatever questions you have. And feel free to advise, we will be more than happy to listen.

A special point in my thoughts: please leave politics, racism and prejudices outside of our relationship. We are talking about poker and that a global thing. What you can see in the media is what sells: sad and bad things, which are neither daily reality nor have a big number of followers/supporters.

Cheers
ak
