I'd call flop and proceed with caution.
I used to play it this way but an analysis of my last 100k hands looking at all-in pots showed that it's a losing play. It was often this sort of situation too, where you get donk bet into and so raise thinking he may be trying it on, only for him to shove and get called because of the odds.
