You will make a monster on the river sometimes. And the key factor is the guy is in such a comfortable chip position that he MIGHT dog it on the river if he has you beat instead of making a value bet that risks his tournament life with AK with huge stack on the bubble.
Meanwhile its very unlikely they have more than 2 outs.
