Default Re: Official Party Regulars Thread

Other week i went to showdown after raising preflop then calling a shove with JJ on low flop by a short stack.

Funny thing happened.I couldnt see his hand and he left the table immedaitly.

It doesn matter much as i won the hand im just intrested to know what he has,and since we went to showdown i thought it would be shown.

I emailed my host and got this response after a long wait.

Hi Mat,

Thank you for your email.

Having further investigated your request, your opponent hand was not
displayed as he had the “Muck Losing Option” selected. This has been
confirmed. In a live game, if players go to a showdown, only the
winner’s hand is displayed to everyone. There is an exception to this
rule though:

A player’s hand might be displayed even if he has Muck Losing selected
if he is the first person to bet or last person to raise. FRIA4EVER lost
the hand and neither bet first or raised. This is why his hand was
mucked.

If you have any additional questions requiring clarification, please let
me know.

All the best for now,

Best Wishes,

In all years i have played on PP i have never know this to be an accuarte statement regarding hands being shown in the hand history at showdown.

I think what the tech people say to out hosts gets missunderstood as their obv talking about the cards being shown to the table.IF SOMEONE GOES TO SHOWDOWN THEIR CARDS ARE ALWAYS SHOWN IN THE HAND HISTORY.

This is true right...

Anyone think im wrong or know otherwise?
