This is something some people do when they flop top set. This would also be consistent with kings. If your read is super solid then good for you. I wouldn't be so sure and I wouldn't fold this, but I totally see the merit.
Edit: To elaborate, I find that most nits are spastic enough to show up with whatever here some of the time, and this is not one of those situations where you should be wrong a lot.
