As far as I know, none of the hotels that offer poker rates restrict what months they offer them. The best way to find out is to call them.
Will 8 grand last two weeks? Who knows? It depends on how well you run. I've had runs in Vegas where 8 grand would be gone playing 1/2 NL in 5 days.
