That's because a World Series win in '07 won't feel like they just saved your life. Like it did in '04.
When they win the WS this year, you won't see old men, crying, grabbing Pedroia's sleeve and blathering, "Thank you!" The cemeteries won't be littered with Sox gear this time.
You won't feel like you just escaped a death sentence. That only happens once.
I'm openly cheering for Cubs and Indians fans to find out what that feels like.
