Giguere is definitely the best goalie on the market, but that's not saying much. Unless Anaheim resigns him, he's going to go to a market with a significantly worse defense. Without Pronger and Neidermayer his performance will definitely drop off.

Yeah, he might be as bad as he was in 2003 with Keith Carney and Ruslan Salei as his #1 and #2 defenseman.
Seriously, he's done great with crap defense and he's done great with great defense. Of course he'd be stupid to go to a team with complete garbage D, but any halfway decent D is all he needs.
