made a post earlier and it got erased. My main points were:
(1) I agree it seems like I should have folded the turn
(2) I would have certainly folded river to a bet of a larger size. At the time I felt like the 1/2 pot bet was a value bet with a hand like AK or a weak 2 pair, with weight towards AK.
(3) I can't have air obviously. I check called two streets. A thinking villain knows I have either an A type hand and have decided to turn it into a bluff, or I backdoored the flush/have a slowplayed "monster". I do slowplay preflop fairly often so I don't think this is unbelievable.
(4) I'm very LAG and am used to playing with LAGs so I suppose I overestimated his aggression. yeah turn was awful, lol. I didn't see his stats at the time or anything.
I guess if villain isn't any good then my read on him is off and the logic behind the play is faulty
