I think standard car rental across the US is 24 as the minimum age, someone correct me if I am wrong.
Best place to find temporary housing is places like
www.rent.com for MLS listings or google/craigs list for corporate apartments. There are a lot of furnished weekly rentals in stately houses in Henderson, but unless you have a ride you wont be saving money living in Henderson in the long run because taxi costs will be through the roof. Instead you should consider one of the many business suites just off the strip which also offer weekly rates - but it wont even be 1/10th as comfortable.
