For the former, I think Boston sports fans are getting bad quick, but pretty much everyone else sucks too. Philly, garbage. NY (not so much Knicks now, but esp Mets) trash. Seattle is pretty chill so they're never that bad. Bay area is pretty solid outside of RedBean. Atlanta fans...not so good.

Is he? That's not too random though, I guess. Lots of people on this site have blogs for one purpose or another. JoA has a pretty rocking baseball one and writes articles for major publications from time to time, but no one asks what he's doing here.
Probably started out just looking for poker information, and found another place to talk about stuff. He's been reg'd since early 2k5, so it's not like he just stumbled across the site recently.
