Cant really blame the ref, it is a tight call. What a player Torres is though. He has everything.

No surprise to see a "Liverpool" interpretation of the rules after the match from Crouch though. "yes it was borderline, but it was a clear goalscoring opportunity, so fair enough"

So now, if it's Liverpool, not only do the fans not have to behave to social standards expected from the rest of the world, but a goalscoring opportunity is a penalty whether inside or outside the box as the rules seem to be different if you're Liverpool. You couldn't make it up.
