I'm pretty sure they were. The post he is refering to is over at FCP, in which DN was talking about play at a 2-4 table. It is unclear, to me at least, whether or not he was refering to limit or PL play.
No matter how good the game is, I seriously doubt playing 95% of your hands can be a long-term winning strategy above penny stakes.
