Default Re: Do you always 4bet AK preflop or do you flat call sometimes?

Depends on a bunch of stuff. I'm much more inclined to flat call against a fairly straightforward TAG when I raised in a steal position and will have position postflop because 1) I can easily have them dominated, and 2) with position I can often wrestle the pot away from them if I don't hit.

If I'm up against a tricky LAG, and particularly if I'm out of position, I will usually shove preflop and avoid a headache.

If I'm up against a villain who c-bets 100% and I'm OOP I'll often flat call and CRAI on any flop.

Stack sizes are also important, obviously. If I'm 150-200bbs deep I'm more inclined to flatcall and play a flop, but that's pretty obvious against most villains I think.
