Reyes is only 23 so it's easy to look at last year's line and think "hey, he's still improving so think how great it will be when he improves on all those numbers!" Since Soriano is 31 with a big fat contract, it's easy to look at last year's line and think "that's good, but he's in decline so all those numbers should drop off next year."
