I know you specified no special history between hero/villain, but my 3-betting range depends on his att to steal % and how wide I perceive his 3-bet calling range to be. Some 21/17s will be stealing about 22% and I'll respect it to a large degree, others are stealing 40% and will give up to 3-bets so I'll play back a lot more...
