your reasoning is fine, but you are still wrong. Sometimes if you catch something from me, you aren't ever going to manifest symptoms. Similarly, sometimes some people can catch something, but not others. I hope that explanation was sorta clear.

yes, there are many examples of this. such as hpv, and hiv to a lesser extent. it is very unlikely that whatever he has is contagious. let me put it that way.
