Re: Swing Dancers and Hiphop
This is awesome. I'm a pretty avid swing dancer, have been for over 5 years. I've watched oodles of those old clips, and I got a kick out of seeing this. Every now and then, DJ's at swing dances to put on something modern and seeing what people can do with it. Just last weekend I was doing something similar to Billy Jean, although I was dancing w/ a girl rather than alone.
Actually, I think in the movie House Party they bust out with some steps very closely resembling this style of dance (Charleston, btw).
