Well put. As a Denver homer and TD fan, I can't help but think he's just a small step above the likes of Chris Warren, Barry Foster, Bam Morris, Eddie George, and Jamal Lewis.
That being said, his post-season performance is absolutely sick. There isn't a RB who comes close, and probably never will be. A lot of it was the O-line, but Rob and Ed were also very good blockers at their position.
And let's not forget that the TD didn't play in any of the teams where HOF inductions are loosely given out. Elway is the only Bronco in atm.
