Default Re: Casino AZ now runs live single table SNGs!

The rake is much better than their regular tournies so this is a boon for SNG players and tourney players in general. Not sure how great it is for the house, essentially with exception of the cheapest SNG they give $50 to the dealer, $5 to the cage (why? dunno), and the house keeps the rest. My guess is $95-$345 rake for the use of a table for one hour is okay if they can run games back to back. I also expect them to increase the rake if they can build up the interest. For the dealer it's a good deal, because they can also get tipped by the winners.

My guess is that if they can't build enough interest to keep the SNGs going almost continuously, they'll stop doing it. If the games go continiously there will be less players bouncing back and forth to the cash games, and it will attract new players, so it will be a positive for everyone. But if the games continue to run like the first two days (mostly $60s, every two hours or so), it won't be and they'll end soon.
