Default Re: TPTK versus a moron - semi deep.

First hand is fine IMHO since he isn't raising a lot of hands in the SB that hit this flop.

Eh? Did i miss something?

Second hand, preflop is effectively meh because we're flipping or dominated, but we've got the button, so a call here isn't too loose. Flop is a definitive call and I evaluate on turn but I'm very rarely folding this: board is dry, you have TPTK and we know villain is betting no matter what on this flop after raising PF. I probably raise/shove turn depending on the card and SB bet.

I'll go on the assumtion we flat called the flop.

Why raise/shove the turn as opposed to calling then calling/betting river?

Turn raise: we may stack a worse hand. He folds a bluff.
Call/bet river: he may still stack off with worse. We also stack him if he's bluffing.

Don't we always more value from the 2nd option?
