Default Re: fans of The Wire: which character is your favorite?

Couple things:

1) Snoop's (Felicia Pearson) autobiography "Grace After Midnight" just came out recently. I just picked it up today and will write up on it when I finish.

2) A CD is coming out Jan. 8th (2 days after season 5 begins), which will include music and dialogue. Album info is at http://nonesuch.com/Hi_Band/albums.cfm?album_num=687 (which also has the season 4 theme by DoMaJe, my favorite theme). Article about it at http://www.pastemagazine.com/action/arti...ries_soundtrack , which lists these tentative tracks:

The Blind Boys of Alabama - "Way Down in the Hole" (opening theme)
The Neville Brothers - "Way Down in the Hole"
DoMaJe (group of Baltimore teenagers) - "Way Down in the Hole"
Rod Lee - "Dance My Pain Away"
Tyree Colion - “Projects”
Diablo - “Jail Flick”
Mullyman - “The Life, The Hood, The Streetz”
Ogun (ft. Phathead) - “What You Know About Baltimore?”
Michael Franti - "Oh My God"
Paul weller - “I Walk on Gilded Splinters”
The Pogues - “The Body of an American”
Steve Earle - “I Feel Alright”
Solomon Burke - “Fast Train”
Blake Leyh - "The Fall" (closing theme)
