for whatever reason I have the same problem with Windows media player 11 but I can see the picture if I use Media player classic to view the video
so try another player, it might help

I vaguely remember having an issue with WMP11 but don't remember if it was a video/audio problem and I how I resolved it. However, you can try going to options->performance tab->uncheck "Use high qualilty mode" and see if it makes a difference.
