I am a recreational on-line poker player who is a member of a community of poker players called 2+2. Recently, we had a friendly wager with noted professional poker player Barry Greenstein which resulted in us collectively donating over $30,000 to the charity Children, Inc. Neal, I know you initially denounced the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act as an unnecessary government intrusion into the lives of responsible adults. Please continue to occasionally draw attention to this. The irony is thick and heavy that hundreds of poker players from around the world could voluntarily coalesce around a charitable drive on the internet in just a matter of a few days when it is these same players that have been made to be outlaws by our federal government.
