Default Re: Fixing Leaks In your Game

Why you would show your cards at all, would be the first question you should ask. In what setting are you showing? a cash game or tourney? How does it help you to give your opponents information on how you play? Online or live play? Are you trying to portray yourself as a tight player or just say hah I got you? Have a purpose for showing and be careful not to abuse it to a point where it makes you predictable.

Also if you loosen up after several hours, its time to get out of the game, more often then not skilled players will already have a good read on you and pick you apart even quicker if you naturally loosen up and aren't playing your a game.

I agree that you have taken the first step by trying to figure out whats wrong, but now you need to take it a step further break it down and learn from it
