tipping
My question is...Does anyone know or understand why an overwhelming percentage of african americans don't tip?
This is my question for OOT. I am not myself, nor do I support racism in any form. I have, however, noticed that it is taken as a given in the service world that african americans don't tip. It is expected and anticipated by service people everywhere that a huge percentage of the time they will receive no tip or a poor tip in these situations. Being a WASP, and having a curious nature...can anyone shed some light on this for me? I am honestly interested in understanding this and I hope to improve my own and others awareness through an open discussion.
