I really don't see anything too wrong with this. If he was being a complete horrible azs then other tables would have noticed, the dealer wouldn't have put up with it then I would assume?
He is there playing wether he should be or not at that point, but it's his choice. Showing him how to correctly call/bet/raise isn't a big deal either IMO.

Dealers look out for regulars, that is natural. That is who they see the most and get the most tips from...

The guy wasn't cheated, he was just playing a game he shouldn't have been. That has been done many, many times.
