Remember, this isn't Vegas, and that the line on the felt is a true commitment line.
Therefore, even action out of turn (such as mucking, or more commonly betting out of turn) usually stands. I say usually, cause this is poker after all, not an exact science...

Now, in this instance the player was def. doing it on purpose, but the dealer was none too sharp and didn't mention anything, one way or another.
