Paul advocates the elimination of Personal Income Tax, not gasoline excise taxes (used to build roads).
He advocates a government that follows the constitutional authority is is granted, nothing more, nothing less.
BTW, roads ARE constitionally mandated.
Though I like Paul he is wrong on the Federal Reserve, regulating the value of money is also in the Constitution.
