Well, helloooooooooooooooooooooo everybody and welcome to this year's International Dodgeball Open....brought to you exclusively here on ESPN, The Ocho! We are coming to you LIVE from the Las Vegas University Learning Annex!
My name is Cotton McKnight and with me as always is my partner in crime, Pepper Brooks.
We're looking at a biiiiiiiiiig showdown here today, folks, between the
Average Joe's and the
Purple Cobras.
PEPPER: This one's for all the marbles in the bank.
COTTON: We're looking at a twist this year, folks.
The four Cobras have announced their intention to wear Average Joe's uniforms in the finals, so no one will know for sure who is on whose team! My God, the possibilities are endlessly flabbergasting!
PEPPER: It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for them.
COTTON: With the Average Joe's tonight is
Patches O'Houlihan, always with them in spirit, but tonight actually manifesting himself as a player on the court!
He'll be fighting tooth and nail alongside the Average Joe's, trying to identify those Purple Cobras before it's too late. We'll take a break after each period so that the Purple Cobras can
DEFINITELY NOT knock off one Average Joe,since that's against regulations, and so that Patches can get
a real good look at the players on the court.
PEPPER: Usually you pay double for that kind of action, Cotton.
COTTON: Well, the game will begin in a few minutes, at which time all the players on the court will be able to deliberate and choose who to eliminate from the match! We will see if the amazing Average Joe's Cinderella story dances on as they work their way to $50,000!
PEPPER: I'm itching all over, Cotton.
