Snitch, that is the perfect way to describe cricket, if you do not know what it is all about, you know even less after reading that.
Reminds me of the story of the two men in a balloon (or rather just under in that basket thingy). They get into some fog and get lost. After a while the fog clears, and they see a man in a field below.
One of the men yells down to the man and ask him: "Could you tell us where we are?", then man in the field answers "You are in a basket under a hot air balloon!", then the other man in the basket under the balloon ask the man below "Are you a mathematician?", the man below answers "Yes!".
The first man in the basket under the balloon then ask the second man in the basket under the balloon "How did you know?". "Well" says the second man in the basket under the balloon "he gave you a perfectly correct answer, that was of no use for you whatsoever!".
