Most American schools justify American use of violence to achieve its national objectives beyond just self-defense. Do you disagree?

I'd say it's a safe assumption that we are going to disagree on what is or is not "self defence" and thus almost certain to disagree on any subject regarding treatments of it or teachings regarding it's use.
