Amazing how the IRS never wins the hobby v. business issue. The IRS should have won this case. How can anyone reasonably expect to profit from slot machines? Yet effort and success in another business lead to a taxpayer being a professional slot machine player. How can the IRS ever challenge whether someone is a professional poker player? But it will and lose.
