Problem is there arent that many really good candidates at the moment. Big Sam? Curbishley? Blah. The only good ones are unavailable until after Euro 2008(Hiddink, Scolari) or beautiful pipe dreams (Wenger, Mourinho)

I think we should put Venables as cartaker manager until post Euro 2008 snd use the time to recruit a new manager to take over in August/September for the 2010 World Cup campaign.

Some have suggested trying Shearer (hey worked for Holland with Rykaard (how the hell do you spell that?)). But then again that job is waaaay beyond his current capabilities imo
