I completely agree. I don't plan on becoming a lifelong commercial banker though.
I'm essentially viewing all of these jobs as a stepping stone to something much more high profile and higher paying in the finance industry such as venture capital work. Which would come after I hopefully get my MBA from a highly regarded B-school.
