haha I put a ladder against the tree, which allowed me to get about half way. Then i called his name and lured him out with some of his favourite food. He must have been pretty hungry i guess.

well if it makes you happy, I threw about 10 bricks in the tree, but the last one caused my cat to make some weird funny noise. So I didnt consider that to be the solution.
