Kansas shouldn't get in, because of many reasons. They didn't prove they were the best team in their conference on the field and no one really considers them to be. Out of the four top teams in their conference, they were 0-1 against the only one they played. They were also 0-1 against Sagarin's Top 40 teams.

With approximately six thousand BCS bowl spots this year, none of those reasons really disqualifies a team for a BCS spot.
